 From $4.50. per hour per child. We offer care for children/tamariki in private homes by qualified Educator's. Hours are flexible, with possible weekend care if necessary. All the Educators are carefully selected and under go a thorough police check before they start caring for your child. BJ's also offer ongoing course training and first aid.there is also a selection of Educators who range from having an Early Childhood Education certificate right up to having a Diploma of Teaching, (prices increase to $5.00 per hour per child for Educators holding a Diploma of Teaching Qualification).

Our Educator's

  • Are Police Checked before they start educating children/tamariki
  • Go through training with the Open Polytechnic (NZ Certificate in Family Daycare)

  • Provide a home based environment

  • Educator's homes are safety checked on a regular basis
  • Provide a stimulating home environment to meet each childs individual needs
  • Have regular spot checks completed

 

As Parents you are asked to

  • Pay your childcare fees each and every week
  • Provide a change of clothes (dress them for messy play)
  • Provide appropriate footwear
  • Lunch & Snacks (no peanuts or lollies)
  • Drinks (Caregivers will supply water)
  • Ensure that children are fit and well for care, if sick please keep them home.
  • Fees paid on a weely basis or through prior arrangements.
  • Please look and see if you qualify for a childcare subsidy it could cost you as little as $0.87 cents per hour, or $1.98 per hour or $3.10 per hour per child. Look at the Costs-Terms page and see for yourself if you qualify for a subsidy, you may be surprised. It is income based and also depends on how many children you have at home, not on how many children requiring childcare. Please phone the office if you require WINZ forms.

    If you're not working or not on a course, you may qualify for up to 9 hours per week.
    The subsidy available up to 50 hours per week. if your child is 3 or 4  you may be eligible for up to 20 hours at no cost to you, conditions apply.
